Women Veterans Interactive is Meeting Women Veterans At Their Point of Need and Supporting Them Through Advocacy, Empowerment, Interaction, Outreach and Unification (AEIOU) Wives, Mothers, Sisters, Daughters all have serve and continue to serve but for women veterans the transition period out of the military is often difficult.Women Veterans have served and sacrificed for this country but yet, after their military service is over they find themselves suffering from major issues, like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Military Sexual Trauma, Readjustment Disorder, Military Related Disabilities, Low Self Esteem and other issues that often lead to unemployment, underemployment and ultimately homelessness.Through our diligent advocacy efforts, research, policy engagement, networking, collaborations, community support, and peer to peer interaction, WVI is dedicated to addressing the needs of women veterans and their families.
