We are Chaukhambha, a heritage in Ayurveda, passed down from generation to generation ever since the 19th century. The name has progressed into something of goodwill in itself, with scholars of Ayurveda preferring the books published by Chaukhambha due to our promise of quality.We believe that the field of Ayurveda holds vast potential when it comes to medicine. We work on that belief by becoming a mediator between the people who wish to educate others (i.e., our authors) and the people who wish to apply Ayurveda and research on the subject using those teachings as a foundation. With this mission in mind, we have amassed a collection of over 450 books that cover all fields in the subject. These books have been written for all - be it a student pursuing his BAMS degree (or higher education), practitioners, or even the layman who wishes to educate himself/herself.Working on this mission, we aim to advance alongside the world and increase awareness about the latent potential of the field. We have worked on this aim by expanding our reach to the entire country and showcasing our collection on our newly made website (www.chaukhambha.com).
