Peoria Ballet is a non-profit company celebrating over fifty-five years of providing the finest in dance performance and dance education to Central Illinois. Well known for its annual production of The Nutcracker, the performance features live orchestral music, professional guest artists dancing the roles of Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier, and more than 100 of the Academy's own dancers. Each season also features a full-length theater production in the spring. The Peoria Ballet also collaborates with other arts and non-profit organizations in an effort to ensure the art of dance continues to be strong and vibrant in the community.
