What is a sustainable event?A sustainable event is defined as ‘an event with a balanced approach to economic activity, environmental responsibility and social progress.' So, what does that mean and how does Saveland Events plan sustainable events? The first thing to remember is progress over perfection. Events will never be 100% sustainable, but we can take intentional steps towards creating a more mindful and sustainable event. We will work with you to determine your event goals and objectives and then we will make a sustainability management plan to integrate into the event planning. This plan may take into account waste management, supporting local businesses, or adding a community service component, to name a few.
