Department of Health and Humans Service (HHS), Registration number being IORG0008389 and IRB00010057.• Thalassemia Detection and Prevention UnitThe Thalassemia Unit was set up in 1997 with support from Mumbai Thalassemic Society (MTS) and Parents Association Thalassemic Unit Trust (PATUT). The unit screens and counsel students from different schools and colleges for various blood ailments.• Income Tax Exemption for ResearchApproved under Section 35 (1)(ii) of Income Tax Act (1961) for the purpose of Receiving Donation/Financial Assistance for Research.
