In 2008, HealthSmart Pharmacy® was formed with the introduction of HealthSmart Pharmacy® Melbourne at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and the re-branding of the existing Alfred Hospital site to become HealthSmart Pharmacy® Alfred.HealthSmart Pharmacy's vision was to be the premier provider of Community Pharmacy services in public hospitals in Melbourne. In November 2013, HealthSmart Pharmacy® Victoria Parade began trading in the St Vincent's hospital precinct.In June 2016, HealthSmart Pharmacy® VCCC opened in the new Peter McCallum Cancer Centre in a state of the art Cancer research and treatment facility. In July 2017, HealthSmart Pharmacy® Box Hill began trading at the recently rebuilt Box Hill Hospital.Our pharmacies embrace the opportunities of new technologies. We have installed robotic dispensing: precision German built storage and dispensing units that improve efficiencies and accuracy, whilst providing maximum time interaction with our pharmacists.
