growmoreX is an agricuture technology and engineering firm that transcends geographical and technological boundaries. The firm brings practical crop know-hows from Southeast Asia to Africa whilst applying relevant cutting-edge ag tech in both. Why the 'curious' geographical focus? SE Asia and Africa share similar agro-ecologies and yet SE Asia is a food basket and Africa spends $30bn importing foods. We have been able to successfully adapt relevant technologies and know-how's from SE Asia to the African context. On the other hand, both regions farm tropical crops so both can benefit from burgeoning ag tech to improve yield and quality. growmoreX operates along the following business lines:1- Advise on feasibility, design and develop large-scale greenfield commercial farming projects in Africa. Target crops include rice, cassava, aquaculture, tomatoes, sugarcane and maize;2- Design and develop irrigation as part of an integrated project or independently 3- Commercial due diligence of agribusiness investments by PE and corporate buyers focusing on the agro inputs sector such as seed, nutrient and crop protection. growmoreX believes in an holistic approach that integrates multiple disciplines: agronomy, water engineering, robotics (drones), IT and Internet of Things and finance, whether they are 'intermediate' or advanced technologies. These are means to achieve 'growmore' of any tropical 'X' crops. We work with Unilever, Diageo, Olam, Leventis, IFAD, AfDB, national and regional groups and large private equity firms on over 100,000ha of land in Africa.
