Catalyst Arts is an artist-led organisation situated in the heart ofBelfast, Northern Ireland.Since its inception in 1993–formed in response to what was seen as acultural vacuum–the gallery continues to be run by a group ofvoluntary directors on a two-year rolling basis.Through its dynamic and challenging programming Catalyst supportsyoung and emerging local talent, often showcasing new names alongsideestablished and international artists.
