Dr. Senter has practiced dermatology in Alaska since 1981. He earned his MD at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and was awarded membership in Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society shortly before he graduated. After his primary care internship at University of California Davis, he served as a Navy flight surgeon. Following his tour of duty, Dr. Senter did his dermatology residency at University of California San Diego. He was then selected to be a VA Clinical Scholar for two years in the combined UC San Francisco-Stanford Robert Wood Johnson Program. Shortly after moving to Alaska, he became a diplomate of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Senter is an associate professor for the Family Practice Residency Program for the University of Washington.
