Elgethun Capital Management (ECM), was founded in 2003 by Terry Elgethun. John Barker partnered with ECM in 2011 and purchased ECM in 2012. We are an SEC-Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) with over $500 million in assets under management and advisement, as of March 31, 2019. We believe clients' interests are best served by an independent, fee-only (no commissions), fiduciary investment manager. We are legally-required to put our clients' interest ahead of our own. Our goal is to promote transparency regarding performance, fees, and risk.
