What is Tetraploid Team?Tetraploid is a scientific term used to describe a state of polyploidy foundin cells, which is having more than two paired (homologous) sets of chromosomes.Tetra means four in Latin, so Tetraploid means four sets of pairedchromosomes. The name came from the fact that we were four individualswhen the team started (Tetra), all of us were attentive to biological scienceespecially genetics and chromosomes (ploid), hence came the name, butnow, we are a group of over 20 intelligent students.
