TAPIR Power modules develops power modules from elementary switching cells with integrated bifacial air cooling.Thanks to its modular nature, our solution facilitates the design of power modules and offers great freedom of arrangement and connection of switching cells. It also contributes to the lightening of the power converters by optimization of the cooling by the distribution of the heat sources in the volume of the heat sink. Thus, we obtain a bifacial cooling directly from the heat sources without interfaces as in conventional modules. The integration of a capacitor as close as possible to the transitors improves the dynamic behavior of the switching cell and makes it perfectly suited to large gap SiC components.TAPIR Solution is incubated in G2ELAB laboratory and funded by SATT Linksium.
