The Damascus Shell School is a learning-focused primary school serving the whole expatriate community in Damascus. We are a truly international school, with a student population representing more than 20 different countries. Our curriculum, the International Primary Curriculum, is used in 65 countries around the world and is specifically designed to develop international-mindedness.We have a highly-qualified and internationally-experienced staff and, with class sizes no bigger than 16 and Learning Assistants in all classes, can provide an enviable pupil:staff ratio.We aim to help children achieve their full potential by offering a broad-based curriculum in a friendly, supportive and encouraging environment in which children can grow and develop in all areas including academic, linguistic, artistic, musical, physical and personal.We are split over two sites. Villa Yalla, in West Mezzeh, caters for children in the Pre-Nursery and Nursery (3 & 4 years of age). Villa Noor, in Kora al-Assad, caters for children from P1-P8 (5-12 years old).
