At this point Russian Union of Innovation and Technology Centers unites together 27 innovation technology centers, which operate with over 10 000 companies, scientific research organizations and universities in 20 regions of Russia. In 2012, the companies accomplished turnover of 28 billion rubles. 6.3 billion rubles have been invested in new researches and innovations. The companies of innovation technology centers create over 400 projects yearly. For support of innovation establishments, the members of the RUITC provide over 227 thousand sq.m of office, laboratory, research and production areas.Main goals of Russian Union of Innovation and Technology Center:• Developing innovation infrastructure and providing infrastructure support to scientific companies, universities, representatives of Russian business and governmental organizations • Supporting in transfer and commercialization of technologies, establishment of long-term cooperation with foreign partners within scientific, technology and business cooperation• Supporting in development of competitiveness and attracting investments to small and medium businesses; foundation, development and distribution of effective support mechanisms of small and medium enterprises• Involve in projects of Russian Institutes of Development • Organization of scientific research conferences, exhibitions, including international• Participation in creation and realization of governmental innovation and investment policies From 2008 RUITC is a leader of Gate2RuBIN (Gate to Russian Business Innovation Networks, EEN-Russia) consortium, a long-term project of involvement of the Russian organizations in the largest European business support network – Enterprise Europe Network – EEN.The aim of the project is to support of development of bilateral cooperation and business collaboration of Russian and European small and medium enterprises, scientific organizations, in order to advancement of their competitiveness.
