Woman Creative Art and Jewelry Design Center is the home of 5 artist studios, 2 teaching facilities and an exquisite gallery. The center encompasses a 3000 sq. ft. suite located the 125 year old Historic Bona Allen Building in Buford, GA just 20 minutes north of Atlanta near Lake Lanier. The creative ambiance features 10 inch plank heart of pine wood floors and light streaming into the gallery from 6 foot square windows located in each artist studio. Classes, events and exhibits are scheduled beginning March 5 , 2011. Focus of the center is to provide a social environment for arts and crafts activity, instruction and recreation. Classes feature modern jewelry and art media such as polymer clay, wire, metals, fiber, acrylic, oil, paper, metal and glass clay and mixed media components. The adjacenet gallery features dynamically designed jewelry and the center offers space for contemporary artists to sell their work. Faculty Members are Barbara McGuire, Patricia Dibona, Jan Stephens and Ellen Prophater. Facility manager is Sue Sutherland. Celebrity guest teachers and special events are also featured at the center.
