Welcome to Rederij Wadden Transport!We operate an established maritime transport service with more than 35 years of experience in the Dutch Wadden Sea region. We sail primarily between the mainland port of Harlingen and two Wadden Sea islands, Terschelling and Vlieland.Our company distinguishes itself in its ability to plan and execute maritime transport in accordance with the specific requirements of our commercial clients. We react quickly to new developments, and are not afraid to face a challenge.In addition to our regular freight service we also enjoy providing a wide range of exceptional transport (extremely heavy or wide) services. We are well known throughout the region for our ability to transport heavy commerical cranes (+100 ton) without having to dismantel them before transport, and for moving mobile homes and prefab structures up to 10 meters wide to their island destinations.Our ferry m.s. Terschellinger Bank has 150 meters asfalt dek available for her customers with a 250 tons maximum load capacity. She is outfitted with her own freight ramps, allowing her additional mobility for the process of freight charging/discharging. As opposed to other commercial ferries currently operational in the Dutch Wadden Sea, the Terschellinger Bank can load or offload freight directly onto a pier in a commericial harbor. In addition, she is also fitted to dock at the same public loading bridges used by other ferries, and does so regularly. What are we strong in? - schip charters : 150 meter asphalt car deck, 250 ton maximum load per trip - developers / contractors : transport scheduling in collaboration with your supervisors - delayed return : we can if necessary schedule the ferry to hold at the island untill your project's completion - hazardous substance transport : fuels, explosives, ammunition, fireworks - heavy transport : maximum 32 ton per axle - wide transport : maximum 10 meter
