Bright Promises Foundation has been serving the children of Illinois for almost 150 years. Through research and discussion with leading children's experts and organizations, Bright Promises Foundation identifies areas of great emergent need where we can make a significant difference through strategic investment. Bright Promises Foundation and our partners develop and fund programs that are based in research and take an innovative approach to serving children, while monitoring outcomes and sharing knowledge of best practice. The issues we address change as children's needs change, but our commitment to funding lasting solutions remains. Currently, Bright Promises Foundation is working to address such crucial issues as quality early childhood education, the impact of trauma on the lives of children and the need for children to develop social and emotional life skills.
