The official collective mark for British manufacturers, registered with UKIPO across 30 product classes. Our organisation aims to bring together the entire manufacturing community in Britain, united with the use of our registered collective mark, so their business can benefit in sales, marketing, exports and PR. Becoming a member entitles your business to a profile page on the Made in Britain Directory alongside all the other makers in our 50 product categories. We encourage buyers, specifiers and ultimately, consumers to treat the Directory as the procurement site for British-made goods. And many of our members use the MiB network of membership to find new suppliers and buyers. The Made in Britain collective mark is accredited to businesses that sell goods that have been manufactured or have undergone a final substantial change in Britain before sale. All companies that apply to use the Made in Britain marque may be asked to submit written evidence that they manufacture their products in Britain. Made in Britain adheres to advice on country of origin labelling included in the Trade Descriptions Act 1968. Country of origin is therefore the country in which a product last underwent a final treatment or process resulting in a substantial change.
