Manatee County Habitat for Humanity, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, is a non-profit, ecumenical, Christian, volunteer-based organization dedicated to building simple low-cost homes by forming working partnerships with low-income families in desperate need of decent housing. Habitat unites individuals, neighborhood groups, corporations, local businesses and churches in a volunteer effort to achieve truly affordable home ownership for those in need. MissionOur mission is to eliminate substandard housing and homelessness from the world and in our community by making decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. To accomplish these goals, we invite people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need.
