Twin, whose seeds were sown 10 years ago, was officially founded in 2017 as an educational technology initiative. Twin's founding team met while volunteering at the Young Guru Academy (YGA) and held science workshops with over twenty thousand children who do not have access to quality education all over Anatolia.With the robotics, coding and artificial intelligence-based educational toys it produces, Twin has reached more than 400,000 children in 15 different countries including but not limited to the United Kingdom, the USA, the Netherlands, Italy and Germany. Twin also works to deliver the latest technology to children from the most disadvantaged echelons of society. With the World Science Movement project initiated by YGA and the Ministry of National Education in Turkey, 8000 Twin Kits have been sent to 800 village schools so far. As the international STEM partner of companies such as Rolls-Royce, Ford, and Boeing, Twin is now helping spread the World Science Movement project beyond Turkey, to the whole world. The vision of Twin, who develops its contents together with long-established educational institutions such as Imperial College London and UCL, is to raise responsible generations that will produce solutions to the world's problems with their knowledge, skills, and conscience.Twin's flagship product is Twin School: Tech4Good. Twin School has two product lines under its roof, 1) physical: Twin STEM Kits and 2) digital: Twin Coding and Twin apps. Following a hybrid school model, children can take weekly online coding & AI lessons and socialize in an online campus environment via Twin app and they are sent STEM kits about coding, robotics, and AI bimonthly. Twin won many prestigious awards, including the BETT Awards & World Economic Forum's Smart Toy Awards, for empowering children to develop their ideas and knowledge through play and activity-based learning.
