Hospice care is centered on the patient/caregiver. It is more than a health care service as it attends to the emotional, practical and spiritual concerns of the patient and the family according to their wishes.HOSPICE affirms life.HOSPICE exists in the belief that through appropriate care and the promotion of a caring community, patients/families/caregivers will be free to attain a degree of mental preparation for death that is satisfying to them. HOSPICE does nothing to speed up or to slow down the dying process. Just as doctors and midwives lend support and expertise during the time of childbirth, so hospice provides its presence and specialized knowledge during the dying process.Our mission and promise to our community is simple - to provide the best care possible, 24 hours a day, seven days a week for all whose lives are affected by a life-limiting illness or condition.
