I have 17 years in childcare. My first 7 years were in two nurseries becoming Deputy Supervisor in both. Then as a nanny for the last 9 years looking after children of all ages, from a day old baby to 16 yrs. Now I have been childminding for nearly a year and am still enjoying this vocation.I have a variety of toys and games that will encourage all ages of development, from comfy floor entertainment for the young babies, push/pull along and interactive toys for the toddler, a story corner and puzzles for the tweenies, games,crafts and even Wii and Game Cube for the eldest. All activities will have the children's best interests.I follow the goals set in the EYFS the guidelines set by OFSTED- by which I have been given a GOOD rating. I liaise closely with parents to ensure the best care is given. I am a hard worker but am also a fun and outgoing person to be with. I appreciate being able to spend more time with the children I care for, helping to develop their individuality and building their characters. Working with children is so much fun and every day brings something new to be shared.
