Emergence is a Gospel-Centered, missional, multiplying community committed to telling people the good news of Jesus Christ. We long to see the church full of equipped missionaries, filled with vision and purpose in the north Jersey area.We believe that the Bible tells the story of a just and loving God actively pursuing broken, sinful humanity in order to reconcile it to Himself. The simple deep truth found in 2 Corinthians 5 sums it up well:"All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God"We believe that God calls the local church to join Him in His mission.
