Ewa, a Hawaiian word pronounced ‘Eva', is a landmark. On an island, traditional directions like east, west, north and south don't always work. Instead, islanders often use reference points to navigate and, depending on where you start, traveling Ewa can be any direction. We chose this name because traditional business practices don't always work when contracting with the federal government and not all opportunities originate from the same spot.
