An after-school and summer program for the middle and high school youth of Louisville, KY.\ After being fully funded, the program will provide a safe place for the youth of Louisville during the hours when parents are typically not home. This will be accomplished through activities such as: recreation, arts, music, writing, career readiness training and life skills workshops, snacks and a comfortable place to gather with peers. The program will run as open enrollment based on available space. To stay in the program students must meet the requirements of the center and follow rules produced by the A'Vel Board of Directors.
