With an initial enrollment of 150 in grades K-4, the school was temporarily housed in the convent, Santa Barbara Church, and in the nearby Girl Scout building while awaiting construction of a new three-room school building which was completed in 1951.This year as it celebrates 63 years of educating the mind, heart and spirit of its students, Santa Barbara Catholic School remains rooted to it's vision and mission of providing a holistic, meaningful, and dynamic education which will enable students to grow into academically competent, socially responsive, productive, well rounded, and life-long learners prepared to face life's many challenges.- See more at: http://sbcs.edu.gu/history/#sthash.ro1I74Ke.dpuf
