director of clinical supervision at Outreach Concern - Santa Ana, California, United States
Outreach Concern is a non-profit 501(c)(3) counseling agency created to help students and their parents eliminate the barriers that impact their performance in the classroom. We have provided a variety of Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services in over 790 elementary, middle, and high schools throughout Southern California, serving over 600,000 children and families. Outreach Concern's primary focus is to provide intervention and support services to students who demonstrate difficulty with academic, behavioral, emotional, and social issues affecting their overall success. We have been providing counseling and support services to public, private and parochial schools in Los Angeles and Orange Counties for more than 25 years. Outreach Concern has a proven track record of making a significant difference in the lives of students and their families. Our on-campus counselors are closely monitored by Regional Field Supervisors and meet weekly with a clinical supervisor who reviews all cases. Interns learn face-to-face counseling, cognitive/behavioral/crisis interventions, family system dynamics, educational issues, case management, law and ethics, and clinical presentations. They also receive ongoing direction from our Clinical Director, a professional with more than 35 years of experience in psychological counseling.
