We founded an academy, A2SV: Africa to Silicon Valley, which offers a 360° software engineer training program that initially focuses on problem-solving and personal development. Then, trainees work on social projects with industry experts. Finally, they are connected with the top Silicon Valley companies for interviews. First trainees achieved an unheard rate of 27% acceptance at Google software engineering internship interviews. A2SV started from Ethiopia and we will expand to the rest of Africa.
