Ever since I was a little girl, I used to watch everyone around me doing something creative - be it doodling on a notepad, to pottery, to creating mesmerizing Tanjore paintings and murals. The only question I had while watching my mother and sister painted was "When can I do that?" While trying to copy them, I ended up finding my sense of style. Instead of murals and oil paintings, I created abstract patterns. Throughout school, I used to have a book where I would create repeating patterns. I would sit in class and keep drawing/colouring (much to the displeasure of my teachers :P). Little did I know I was drawing Zentangles even then. Slowly, I discovered Mandalas and then there was no looking back. Pretty soon, I combined my profession with my passion and started creating digital patterns, though nothing compares to the feeling of creating something by hand.Over the years, there have been innumerable people who have told me "You should do something with your art". Slowly, the idea took shape and Meraz was born. It's a way for me to share my ideas and work with the world.I accept custom orders for my work :)
