Julia wanted to give her sister something elegant and cool, sentimental and stylish, very personal. "I had seen lots of initial and name jewelry. Most of the really expensive stuff is machine made so lacks some character. Most of the personalized silver jewelry I had seen was too crafty looking. My sister is a corporate attorney. Besides, the name and initial thing can be nice, but it had been kind of overdone and I wanted my gift to be more special than that".
