Getting into medicine isn't easy – fewer than 15% will succeed – but it's even harder if you're from a disadvantaged background. In fact, it is twice as hard for a disadvantaged student to get into medicine compared to any other degree. We have known this for years, but nothing has changed since 2007. This is a medicine specific problem which requires a medicine specific solution. We aim to make the best resources available to all applicants – not just the privileged: personal statement guidance, application guidance, interview prep and everything in between with our mentorship programme. Because we believe that everyone who deserves to be a doctor, should be.
