The Interns is music in conversation: a rolling output of what emerges from our endless digs for new music. With an unwavering emphasis on generating conversation and debate around new music, we encourage an authentic and ongoing dialogue between contributor and consumer alike in order to support and explore the arrival of new music and new talent in the ever-evolving music scene. As an opinion-based features and reviews site, the interns was created by young people for young, music-loving Australians aged 18-29, and continues to be driven by a desire to facilitate direct engagement with all things new music-related. We pride ourselves on our unique approach to music culture through our clever writing, illustrations & infographics. We once broke the internet with a children's book about Kanye & Jay Z's adventures in Paris, as well as a Chance The Rapper colouring book.We were also responsible for a "leaked" Splendour in the Grass lineup and a fake Australian festival on April Fools' Day.
