The Electronics Club of VIT (TEC-VIT) is the official club under Vellore institute of Technology's School of Electronics Engineering. We are a group of enthusiastic engineering undergraduates with the objective of making quality projects. Though our origin was based on electronics- centric projects, our domain now encompasses a variety of technical domains including IoT, Embedded Systems, Robotics, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Software Booms. We work tirelessly, around the clock in our lab, brainstorming ideas and producing projects. We focus not only on the internal development of our club members, but also maximize external participation. We conduct technical workshops and sessions for the purpose of spreading knowledge to one and all. The topics we include are Arduino, Sensor Interfacing, Raspberry-Pi, Verilog, MATLAB, Python, Website and App Development, Image Processing, among others. We make majority of our workshops as "hands-on" for better exposure. The only pre-requisite for attending our workshops and events is a hunger to learn. We participate in several national and international events and competitions, and have achieved some exceptional results. We also conduct our own technical fest where we put up all our major projects on display, demonstrate the working to spectators, exchange suggestions and ideas, and most importantly inculcate an interesting towards project building. Our projects consist of major ones, that aim to solve real world problems, as well as mini projects - made out of sheer passion for the purpose of learning. A few of our projects till date are:- IoT based Smart Grid Energy Management System- Air Guitar- Smart Farmation- Swarm Robotics- Gesture based, Smart Wearable Assistant for the Visaully Impaired- Smart Spirometer- Autonomous Bot- Road Sign Detection and Smart Traffic Control- Gesture and Iris Controlled Wheelchair- Human Activity Recognition Wearable Watchand many more!A TEChie's desk never rests!
