Companies and government agencies leverage shared information and generate new analysis to make cyber attacks more difficult and costly—and to increase the likelihood that attackers will be apprehended.Cyber attackers are no longer limited to traditional entry points like employee mobile devices and laptops. They are now attacking companies through every entity that interacts with their business systems, including customers, the supply chain and providers of business services.Vulnerabilities are also being introduced as companies extend beyond their core businesses—for example, utilities and network companies selling through retail outlets or retailers offering financial services—using entirely new systems and processes.On its own, no sector, no business or organization is safe from cyber attack.
