We are a family of talented people who share a passion for great food and a dedication to excellence. Our mission is to create simple, convenient, fresh products for today's consumer. Our products are regionally produced, made to order, and delivered "Just-in-Time." RFG was started out of competitive necessity in December 2003! At the time we were a very strong regional fresh cut processor in an environment that required a national platform. All the strategic thought processes certainly went into play. We wanted to position manufacturing operations close to our important customers in order to offer a one day order, delivery cycle. We wanted to offer a strong, innovative product set that would set us apart from our competition and allow us to market to multiple categories within these customers. We embarked on efforts to lead the industry in food safety and product quality. We developed processes and challenged the thought process for how a manufacturing plant should look and operate. But the truth of the Renaissance concept, our way if you will, is that we were founded on the premise and the power of Yes! We did not come to this market with anything but the attitude of our awesome, hardworking, professional, dedicated people. We grew this company person by person with each filling important, critical roles. Our response to our customers, obstacles, and challenges has always been and always will be Yes! Yes we can, yes we will. Today we are growing dynamically, challenging ourselves to venture into new and different markets pushing to build new facilities and innovate new products all because our customers want us to. They challenge us with more technical products and processes, they look for tighter delivery cycles and more information, they ask us to source from many more vendors and carry broader and broader inventories, supplying broader and broader product sets. Of course our answer to all this? Yes, because that's the way we want it!
