Korman Communities is a product of four generations of Korman innovation, leadership, passion and hard work. Throughout its history, the Korman company has built more than 30,000 single-family homes, 10,000 apartments and 2 million square feet of retail and office space.In the 1960s, Steven Korman pioneered the furnished apartment industry in the United States at the Plaza in Philadelphia after realizing there was a whole segment of people that wasn't being served.
