KneeGard is an apparel manufacturing company that concentrates on work wear that protects the knees of the pant wearers. The adjustable and patented construction of the interior pockets for the pads was invented by Bob Warner to address the wear on knees by installers in the flooring business. His Idea interested Ed Solomon who had extensive experience in the textile trade, especially in denim with Graniteville Mills. Ed then introduced Bob Warner to Bob Martin who was experienced in garment production. Together they refined the work pant with fit and function, and started to manufacture the pants in the USA. Today KneeGard sells canvas and denim pants, chambray work shirts, tees, and belts, all "Made in USA". Safety experts are interested in the pants as they can protect the knees from injury on the job sites.
