Lindblad was originally founded as a masonry company over 100 years ago, and has evolved to provide services in concrete construction, renovations, design/build contracting and construction, and supply and construction of pre-engineered metal buildings for both the industrial and commercial markets. The current ownership, which purchased the company in 1989, has been with Lindblad Construction since the late 1970s.Concrete construction has always been a major part of Lindblad's self-performed work, with numerous projects being completed in the industrial area including power generation and distribution, refinery, chemical, gas transmission, and plant maintenance. Work in the utility sector has predominantly been associated with electrical substations consisting of both new green field sites to modifications and expansions of existing substation.
