Founded in 1972, Literacy DuPage is a non-profit organization providing customized, accessible, one-to-one English language tutoring for adult learners in over 30 communities in DuPage County.Our mission is to provide tutoring in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to help adults achieve life skills goals. We accomplish this through our trained volunteer tutors, who provide free, tailored, learner-centered English language instruction at convenient times and locations for both tutors and students.
