In the ninety years since the debut of the SAT, the influence of standardized tests over the college admissions process has ballooned out of control. No wonder these exams are such a significant source of stress for high school students and parents alike, and no wonder this anxiety has given rise to a $4 billion test prep industry (an industry that's bulky, inefficient, and very often exploitative).Catalyst is dedicated to changing the way students experience the process of taking tests and applying to college and graduate school.
