Planet Knox Ltd is the company behind the multi award winning Knox Body Armour, Hand Armour, Cold Killers and Dry Inside. We specialise in the design and manufacture of innovative impact protective equipment, performance layering systems and most recently Hand Armour. Our products are built for motorcycling, motocross, mountain biking, snowboarding, skiing and equestrian and our headquarters are in the beautiful Cumbrian Lake District, which provides us with the best real life testing ground for our products.The company started in 1981, when we launched the 1st commercially available back protector under the Pro-Tek brand. This was followed by the award winning Pro-Tek Elite suit in 1988 which was the 1st motorcycle jacket to feature built-in protectors in the elbows, shoulders and back. So we really started something!We moved to the Lake District in 1993 and the brand Knox was launched soon after.
