General Counsel at America's Center for Foreign Investment LLC - an EB5 Regional Center - Montgomery, Alabama, United States
America's Center for Foreign Investment (ACFI) was established on June 5, 2006. Since then, it obtained official designation as a regional center from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on June 11, 2007, expanded from Alabama into Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee in 2009, and obtained approval from USCIS for 16 different industries and economic clusters in 2011.ACFI is an EB-5 compliance consulting services company, the first such company approved by USCIS as a regional center. Investment projects are created by outside developers for foreign investors. ACFI does not represent EB-5 project developers, nor does it represent or work for foreign investors. ACFI does not develop its own EB-5 investment projects. So what does ACFI do? It serves as a federally designated regional center, discharges its duties and obligations under that designation, and works with investment project developers toward EB-5 compliance.ACFI has reviewed hundreds of business plans and has spent countless hours in discussions with prospective investment project developers. Our goal is to help all of the foreign investors in our affiliated projects a permanent green card and return of their capital investment amount and to help our project developers create good jobs. Anything less is not good enough. If you are a project developer within ACFI's geographic area, which encompasses five states -- Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee -- you will find us very approachable and easy to work with. If you are an immigration lawyer, you will find that our regional center is transparent and that we will give you any information you need short of taking the risk of violating someone's privacy.
