From 1974 until its closure in 2018, The Golf Academy of America sought to educate golfers in all facets of the game as they worked towards earning an Associate's degree in Golf Complex Management. The well-trained faculty was comprised of PGA of America Teaching Professionals. The campuses were located in Hawaii, Texas, South Carolina, Florida, Arizona; and California.The Golf Academy of America was accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), an entity nationally recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
