Heritage Search Consultants is a boutique search firm opened in 1988 with the intent of helping actuaries across all major lines of business find and get positions that would help fill a missing need in their work life. Across the years we've made placements with virtually all the major and mid major insurance and consulting companies who employ actuaries on a national basis.What I think sets us apart from the competition is that we take the time to get to know our candidates and make sure they are ready for every interview. Most companies idea of an interview prep seems to be giving the name, date, "wear a suit", don't screw it up and call me when you're done. At Heritage Search, we feel that particularly in these times it's important to make sure our candidates are well prepared for each interview. It's not uncommon for us to spend and hour (or better) preparing our candidates for each and every interview.Another way we're different is that we don't just throw "generic" jobs that may or may-not be there on a website (companies trolling for applicants). If we take on a candidate, we touch base with every firm in their geographic region of interest that could hire them.
