We embrace the blessings and humor that these members of our family bring to our lives, including chewed shoes, hair-covered cushions and wet kisses. We know there is nothing more soothing than a quiet snuggle or more joyful than a wiggly butt. Two things stood out – there has to be a better way to administer hemp extract and it has to start working faster.We studied how mammals digest and absorb hemp extract. The human body only absorbs 15% of a standard dose of CBD oil, and takes more than an hour to begin to take effect. Dogs and cats, on the other hand have dramatically shorter digestive tracks, not to mention that they are a fraction of the size of their human parents.This is where our Founder's background in science and technology played an important role. Studies show a significant improvement in efficacy when water soluble hemp is used.
