The Out-of-Door Academy is a coeducational, college preparatory, independent day school serving over 750 students from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade in Sarasota, Florida. Founded in 1924, The Out-of-Door Academy is one of the oldest independent schools in Florida and a founding member of the Florida Council of Independent Schools. The school's mission is to provide an environment in which students strive to achieve high academic goals and to build character through a balanced program of academics, the arts, and athletics.
