UOW Motorsport is a formula category student racing team from the University of Wollongong. We are a multi-disciplinary team devoted to competing in Formula SAE Australasia, an annual design competition held in Melbourne VIC.The competition hosts teams from around the world and involves a number of static and dynamic events. As of 2017 UOW Motorsport are the reigning Australasian champions and are ranked 10th in the world of the 550 universities that compete.Once solely an engineering project, UOW Motorsport now boast students from across the campus. We are proud to contribute to the growth of professionalism and quality of graduates in the Illawarra. Our philosophy is to align passionate skilled individuals with skills specific work within a collaborative learning environment. Through the pursuit of motor sporting excellence, our ambitious members strive to become masters in their craft and become a contributing force to their employed industries.
