This means that our members are also owners of the cooperative and therefore are entitled to many benefits. These benefits include democratic control through the election of fellow members to the board of directors, strength in numbers through the collaboration of other cooperatives both locally and nationally and as owners our members enjoy the return of margins ("profits") in the form of capital credits.The mission of Kankakee Valley REMC is to exceed the expectation of our cooperative family. We will strengthen our cooperative community by encouraging trust, education and an open forum for ideas.
