As confirmed by key opinion leaders, there is no technology that allows for continuous monitoring of brain hemodynamics (blood flow and metabolism). This is particularly crucial in the neonatal ICU, where long term negative outcomes such as cerebral palsy and intellectual disability are driven by injuries to the brain due to the immature cardiovascular system and under-/over-treatment. Our device is the first non-invasive monitor that measures real-time brain hemodynamics and metabolism, second by second. It provides early actionable alerts and continuous feedback allowing for early intervention and treatment monitoring.
