Electrical Manufacturer's Rep.History:Stanley Stevens established Stevens Sales Company in 1914, when Thomas Edison appointed him as the agent/distributor for Mazda Lamps (which was the lamp division for both General Electric and Westinghouse Corporation). His younger brother Thad Stevens took over the business in 1938 after Stanley died in an automobile accident near Burley, Idaho. In 1958, Thad's son-in-law, Jack Lowder bought the company after working for Thad for 10 years.In 1973, Clark Lowder, the current president, began working at Stevens Sales Company for his father (Jack) while finishing his Electrical Engineering degree at the University of Utah. There are 23 employees covering all of Utah and parts of Idaho, Nevada, and Wyoming. Our sales team focuses on the architectural/engineering and specification design build community, distributors, contractors, and end users. Our team also consists of a talented and experienced customer service, quotations, controls, utility roadway, lighting applications and project management groups.
